Now on site and approaching completion, the Te Wharepōuri Renovation is breathing new life into a much-loved 1910s villa in the heart of historic Berhampore, Wellington. This renovation and extension carefully balance heritage and modernity, retaining the home’s original charm while reimagining it for contemporary living.

Dark timber detailing in the new extension connects past and present, referencing the restored rimu sarking that lines the villa’s interior. A new covered outdoor deck extends the living space into the garden, reflecting today’s way of living seamlessly between inside and out.

With construction progressing rapidly, the home is soon to begin its next chapter: a renewed Wellington villa that celebrates its history while embracing the future of sustainable, family-focused living.
