We’re excited to share that Beach Rd Community Housing is now under construction with Stackhouse & Firth Construction.

We recently visited the site, nestled between the moana (ocean) and the maunga (mountains) of the Kāpiti Coast, to see the townhouses beginning to take shape.

Designed by First Light Studio for Te Āhuru Mōwai, the ten-townhouse development reimagines coastal living in Paekākāriki through a distinctly Aotearoa lens. Contemporary coastal architecture is woven together with Māori design principles to create homes that celebrate community, strengthen connection, and respond to the unique character of the surrounding landscape.
